The Sprint Race
The sprint race boats will depart from Lochmaddy along with the flotilla fleet. After leaving Lochmaddy the fleet will head north before turning west to pass through the sound of Harris from east to west. The start line will be on the western side of the sound of Harris.
Heading out into the North Atlantic the sprint race fleet will round the St. Kilda archipelago in a clockwise route before finishing in village Bay.
If conditions allow participants can have some time ashore before heading back to Lochmaddy for the onshore events.
